Depending on where you’re going and when you bought your ticket, the amount of luggage you can bring on a flight from Canada to another country changes. On trips abroad, there is always at least one free bag. A second bag will cost up to $100.

- Bags that weigh 23 to 32 kg (50 to 70 lb) are considered to be too heavy.
- Oversized bags are those that are 63 to 115 inches (160 to 292 cm) long.
- 51 to 70 pounds or 24 to 32 kilograms: at least $100 more per bag in Canada and the United States
- As checked baggage/hold luggage, you won’t be able to bring bags that weigh more than 70 pounds (32 kilograms).
