How do I find out what your Vodafone number is?
You can get your Vodafone number by dialing a USSD code, looking at your SIM card, and calling customer service.
To find out how to use USSD to check your Ghana Vodafone number, just:
- Dial *127#
- When you press “OK,” your SIM number will show up on your phone’s screen in less than a minute.
There can be problems with the USSD network from time to time. Dial 100 to get in touch with Vodafone’s customer service. Follow the on-screen instructions or talk to a call center worker to find out your phone number.
You can also look at the body of your SIM pack, if you still have it, to see what your Vodafone number is. They’ll write it on your SIM card somewhere.
How to check your Ghana MTN number
You may have just bought an MTN SIM card and want to know how to look up your cellphone number. You can get your MTN cell number by using USSD, opening the SIM pack, or calling customer service.
To check your MTN cell number in Ghana with USSD, just:
- Dial *156#
- A pop-up will appear with your MTN cell number. Depending on how your phone works, you can just write it down, screen record it, or take a picture of it.
- If it doesn’t bring up your number right away, just do what it says.
