Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education offers 3 Year Polytechnic Diplomas in many fields. The Board initially administers the Polytechnic Entrance Exam (JEEP) to admit qualified students. Then the board organizes the winter/summer semester exams twice a year. Full Diplomas require 6 odd-even semesters.
The Board holds Winter (Odd) Semester Exams in January and Summer (Even) Semester Exams in June/July. The Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education (UBTER) holds semester exams twice a year, in the winter and summer semesters. The Board held Summer (2nd, 4th, 6th Semester) in May-June 2024. The board is preparing for the November-December Diploma Winter (1st, 3rd, and 5th Semester) Exam.
